Yuki Nagato Swimsuit No Beach
April 30th, 2008
I’m used to being surprised by something every time I open the door to the clubroom, but I wasn’t expecting this, not that I’m complaining. Miss Nagato in a swimsuit, now that’s a surprise I can live with on a daily basis. Anyway, I expected Haruhi to be doing all sorts of things around Miss Nagato, since after all, this wasn’t the type of thing Yuki would wear just out of the blue — “blue,” she said — but Yuki was alone in the clubroom.

Nadie, El Cazador
February 29th, 2008
Nadie let the man run down the ravine at full speed. A wake of dust that his feet kicked up from the dry riverbed trailed in the moonlight as he ran. He stumbled and kept going on all fours, using his hands, like an animal for who standing up straight asked too much of his spine. The sight and sound of the man breathing and whimpering would have been funny if he weren’t about to die.

1st Half 2008 Orders
January 24th, 2008
Okay, yeah, I’m getting depressed by the lack of PVC-ness going on here, so here’s a filler post about what I’ve got on pre-order:
Alter
Nadie (Delayed but in progress)
Franco Il Nero
Exelica (Delayed)
Nagato Yuki
Reinforce Zwei
Enma Ai
Kirijo Mitsuri
GoodSmile
Atsuki Mishiro (Re-release)
Rize
Chu Chu Astram (I want this one NOW!)
MaxFactory
Saber (In Transit)
Emiya (In Transit)
Makoto
MM
I’ll probably add another 3 or 4 at some point. I really like what should be coming over the next couple of months. Going by what I’m actually buying, I guess Alter has the best line-up for the first part of 2008. Those getting all of the Shuraki figures from GoodSmile will probably disagree, plus that Chu Chu Astram is really hot looking (please dear god don’t be a trap).
How about you? If you’re only getting one or two, which ones are you getting? For me it would be Exelica or Chu Chu.
Alter Death Sensei in a Winter Wonderland
December 31st, 2007
The snow crunched under Death Sensei as she walked slow through the snow. She was late, but she knew most people didn’t mind it if she was. These end of year parties, she dreaded them. It wasn’t that she disdained these gatherings, far from it. Having to supply idle conversation was a critical skill she lacked, so parties just made her uncomfortable. What she did like about parties was walking to them and leaving them. The world becomes her own secret place on that walk home, where the white noise of the world can be heard clearly as the snow falls along the way.
