Alter Death Sensei in a Winter Wonderland
The snow crunched under Death Sensei as she walked slow through the snow. She was late, but she knew most people didn’t mind it if she was. These end of year parties, she dreaded them. It wasn’t that she disdained these gatherings, far from it. Having to supply idle conversation was a critical skill she [...]
She’s Miss Nobody from Alter
Miss Nobody stole Slash’s hat. Miss Nobody walked right through a cold November rain, across a wide open plain, to a desolate church graveyard and swiped the hat off his head while he cried with his ax. He didn’t protest. Ending Haruhi in the Rain
Hype is a giant killer. The more furious the proclamations of greatness the more likely the legend will be dead on arrival. A few days ago I finished The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, its battered and bloody, but it survived hype’s special attack and was a fun show for me to watch.

Beck and the Other Side of Dreams
There are many reasons why I find Beck amazing. One of the things I really enjoy is how Beck tries to show the cycle that many creative people go through from inspiration, perspiration, to knowing that it’s over and the dream has ended without the desired ending. What does one do after taking the shot [...]
Added Easy Gravatars
Temporarily switching from the Comvatar comment icon to Gravatar via the Easy Gravatar 1.1 plugin. One nice thing about Gravatar is you can keep your icon across any blog that is Gravatar enabled. The downside is few people have one registered (register one!). I’ll see how it goes for a couple of weeks before deciding [...]
