Shima and Arisa

I got these this week. They were released by Max Factory months and months ago, but kept putting them off until they went out of stock most places, so some recreational Ebay searching caused me to finally get this set. There were a few different Arisa and Shima figures released around the same time, but most of them just had sculpts that didn’t really fit the characters, particularly several of the Shima figures. This sculpt by Bubba, on the other hand, gets the characters personalities down. The paint job on the figures is pretty average, as the white paint strays from where it should be quite often. The orange on Shima’s plugsuit does have a nice shine to it, so it’s not all ho-hum as far as the paint goes. The figures are cute and I’m glad I finally got them.
