“What’s with the costume,” he said about her headset, boots, and the clear plastic slip. He’d never seen a dancer wear stuff like that before.

“It’s from a video game,” she said and gently pushed him down on the couch as she began dancing for him. “You’re like the first person to ask. Most people think I just have really weird taste.”

“You’re dressed as a video game character?”

“Yeah, Baek ChangPo.”

“Bae…I’ve never heard of that one.”

“You probably wouldn’t have unless you’re really into the Japanese games,” she said and then slid out of the clear plastic dress. She sat down on his lap and she let his hands caress her. They were gentle. “Do you need to adjust yourself?”

“I’m good,” he said and she started to grind. “You’re pretty hardcore then.”

“Well, my boyfriend is, so I guess I am. I’m more into dressing up. Video game chicks have pretty hot outfits.”

“They sell stuff like this?”

“No. Well they do on eBay, but they usually look like shit. My mom actually makes most of mine. Plus, I like to dress like more obscure characters that nobody would sell anyway.”

“Your mom, she knows you…dance?”

“Yeah,” she leaned forward to pick up the plastic dress from the floor and shook her bottom a little for him. “See that fastener, how she made this so I could take it off in two seconds? Mom’s awesome. The plastic gets really hot and sweaty though.”

“Haha, I kind of like that.”

“It turns you on?” She leaned back and moved his hands to cup her breasts.

He squeezed.

“Would you like to stay for another song?”

Max Factory’s Baek ChangPo Review

This was another last minute add on. Found her face kind of weird in the product shots, so I passed when Baek ChangPo first came out for pre-order. After a while the figure grew on me. I think it’s the pose and the clear plastic dress. It was just something that I didn’t have anything like in my collection, so eventually I fell to the charms of this figure. Max Factory’s Baek ChangPo wins in the pose and style department.

The Baek figures stumbles a little on the production end. It’s not the sharpest sculpt I’ve seen, kind of messy with the joins, and the paint doesn’t make me drool. The clear dress goes a long way to adding to the cool factor and the base matches the figure very well.

Where I dock the figure the most points is the butt. It’s kind of dull, which is a big flaw for a figure that’s bent over like that. From the front and fully clothed it is, however, an excellent view.

I’m very happy to see her in soda land ^_^ Beautiful lighting! After being told I bear an uncanny resemblance to BCP I feel mightily flattered but way happy I’m getting her into my collection. I like costume gimmicks!

Woah. Awesome shots! I bought this figure recently at a good price and still have yet to take it out of its box.

    Love the stripper pole btw…

    nice diorama :D

It’s unusual for max factory to have messy joints =\

I cancelled my preorder for this figurine tho, but even with the flaws she still seems nice :)

I didn’t preordered it as well at first, but seen more and more pictures of her made me have a second thought… and finally have it ordered from a webstore which seems a bit slow ^^ ahh whatever :)
Lovely scene, and good use of (Excelia’s canons?) metal support ^^ that’s excellent!

Ha I didn’t even know this figure existed, though I probably wouldn’t have preordered it anyway.

    Priss: You’re a cutie then.

Eetaku: It’s always good to find a deal on a figure, particularly one that’s relatively new.

~ron: The back of her legs just don’t look good at all because not only is there the line from where the pieces join, that line is recessed in a slight valley. The saving grace is it’s in the back, leaving the front pretty clean, but it’s still nasty looking.

lu-k: Good spot. I forgot to use them in the Exelica shoot, so decided to use it here.

Adun: Put is a maybe in the massive con loot box?

otaku dan: It’s a cute figure no doubt.

My my, what a racy number for the figure-intro!

Awesome idea adding the pole to the photoshoot, goes well with the post at the start.

there’s no doubt, with that acute a bend-over position that they’re trying to emphasize the behind, kind of sad they didn’t end up doing a good job on the sculpt for it.

It was the same for me, didn’t have her on preorder, but when I saw the first reviews, I decided to order her, and I don’t regret it at all !

And as always, nice text and pics !

PS: And yes, I love being a prinny !

JF, racy but not too graphic I hope. Trying to edit my thoughts less before I type and just type. In spite of my nit about her bum, I hope the photos show that Baek is pretty in her own way, which is what I try to do each time.

Hey, SbebiWan!, I went through something similar. I probably could have waited to pick her up a little cheaper at conventions (no shipping), but I felt bad that she was kind of passed over with reviews in spite of having a couple of unique features.

    And…if you’re a prinny by choice, then it’s all good. :)

    Still she looks cute ^^

Im glad im broke right now!
The Clear Dress makes her quite desireable even tough her face is a bit of a letdown.

    Great Shots as always

Now that I’ve had Baek on my desk for about a week, I really like the figure. Her face doesn’t photograph all that well, but in person, it looks fine in that desktop setting right next to my monitor.

I have to say Baek is one of my favorite figures so far this year.

  • [...] seen various news items and reviews of this figure, finally the review on Happy Soda by Super Rats finally pursuaded me to get out there and buy it. Luckily for me it was on a site [...]
