Fasalina
October 30th, 2007
The DJ asked everyone at the bar to give a big round of applause. Nobody did. Nobody ever does. One after another the girls trudge down the spiral staircase, take off their clothes, pretend to dance, and when the song is over the girls go around the bar to collect tips. I don’t feel like clapping either.
I guess it doesn’t matter if the girls dance or not. She’ll get the same dollar, which is probably why almost none of them ever dances, even though they call themselves dancers. At least they all strip, but none of them want to be called strippers.
Fasalina proves why the other girls don’t bother. When Fasalina is on the pole, it’s like watching an artist. Jaw dropping, erotic, and beautiful, she shakes the place out of the coma it’s in, blood remembers how to flow, but there is no big round of applause. Sometimes I wonder what the fuck people like her are doing here. She should be somewhere else.
Review of Fasalina from Max Factory
The world works in ways I do not understand. Max Factory has this POLO system, this feature where figures in that line have removable clothing. Here we have Fasalina, a woman with a body, a pole dancer, a prime POLO candidate, yet so far the only POLO enabled characters are pettanko and/or way under age. Like why on earth is the next Wendy the GunxSword figure to get the POLO treatment? Not that I actually give a crap about the POLO feature, just saying it’s kind of weird that the ones with the peekaboo have nothing to see.
I may have mentioned this before, but I think Fasalina is one of the sexiest characters in anime, so this one was an instant buy for me. This figure doesn’t even bother with cute like most figures from Japan. It goes straight for hot. Fasalina looks like her body has already warmed up and is ready to go, but then she always looks that way.
For the most part the figure is okay, just not one of those great pieces every collector should get regardless if they’re fans of the character or not. Paint is okay, presence of artifacts okay, detail level okay, a couple of funny looking angles, but she’s still one hot Fasalina. Really what’s most apparent on the shelf is the kneeling pose, the arched back, and that her breasts hug her staff. It’s a little scary trying to massage the pole through her breasts, since she’s got quite a grip on that purple rod, so take your time.

I can’t exactly say why I didn’t buy this one. Heck yes, she’s hot. In fact, so sexy that it’s too much to be a figure. Is she wearing panties or some sort of undersuit?

you shots some how make her looks better than the other pics that I have seen and the shot with the bear is so cute. She does looks funny at certain angle though.

Yeah I bought her as well but she’s yet to arrive. Sexy in the new cool! I don’t really buy loli figures at all.

As a big fan of her too, this figure is an instant buy as well! And I’m so glad to see her through your fantastic shots! Last pic is incredible hehe
Got the same feeling about polo system attributions… why Wendy!, why not Fasalina!? complete mystery…

Aargh, I can’t decide whether to get this or not…from some angles she looks great, but from others she looks like she’s been drenched with a bucket of water. Decisions, decisions…

A hot one indeed. Can’t wait till mine arrives. Nice addition with the bear there.

LOL I like the tiny bear. Even though I like her as a character, I think she’s way too sexy to be on my table.

Fasalina does have an undersuit.
I think Karura has the best way to describe how she looks from her left side. Facing forward she looks good.

There’s one image I cut where I thought it was a little too suggestive to leave the image inline. It would have replaced the Fasalina Side picture, but in the sequence it seemed to imply something “happens”.

Having not watched the anime, Fasalina looks bonked out to me, but according to my friends, thats just me being an idiot as usual for missing the anime so I should just shut up there ^^; No argument that she’s one smokin character though, and it really shows in this figure. Gotta love teddy bears and crotches ^^b

Those are some soft looking “eyes” lol, kudos to you for getting her. She was a bit too suggestive for me to add her to my collection lol. My favorite picture though was the one with the bear, I don’t know why but it makes her seem naughtier ;p.

Fasalina was like, way too focused on the “sexy” aspect that I settled for another figure, like Kureha or Fauna.

It has its charms…and that backshot with the hair, such a tease~ lol
Havn’t watched GUNxSWORD so I can’t really say much.

Received her recently and she’s definitely the most risque-looking figure I own. I reckon if one hasn’t watched GxS Fasalina might appear somewhat vulgar, it’s just one of those things where context is rather important.
I have to agree she’s one of the sexiest females in anime and that’s the reason I preordered her without hesitation since she came sealed with the MF standard of quality. That said I was a little let down by the generally flat painting but by general figure standards she’s still solid. Your shots highlight her curves very well ^^

There isn’t a lot of shading…but with curves like she’s got, she’s casting a lot of her own shadows.
I didn’t think it was too much of a detriment, but I agree good shading is always appreciated. The thin stripes were pretty cleanly done for a figure of that scale.

i have a question - what camera did you use? is it a DSLR camera?

Yes, I use an Olympus Evolt 500 with a 35mm macro lens.

Dear sweet god, at the risk of sounding incredibly crass, that turns me on ~_~
I’m tempted to get it… but she’d probably stay in my bedroom *shifty eyed look*

Yeah, I wonder what’s more suspect, having Fasalina on display in the rec area or keeping her in the bedroom.

I was wondering where I could get this and what kind of price I’d be expected to pay.

Twin Moons has Fasalina in stock.
