Mood lighting. ^^

I have thought about going unnatural with the contrast and saturation and how it impacts something from a review standpoint. I have felt that if it enhances the feel of the character, it's fine to distort a little, especially if there are "review" type shots in there somewhere.

Excellent photos! I noticed that you have started to use very high contrast shadow and light. It really brings a different mood with your images! Though watch out on the type of mood you are bringing. Use it in moderation for figures that should have that mood, as the dark shadows conceal a lot of details which make it difficult to properly review.

Excellent photos! Definitely a unique lighting technique that takes it away from the "stock photo" look!

Adun, a couple of the girl characters designs for Little Busters seem more freaky than cute, but I do like Rin.

~ron, it's meant to be that way, but I guess it's going to turn some people off.

Yamcha, she's on my desk guarding my notebook.

James, I can see that, I'm still not sure why I got Rin myself, though I do like it.

Blowfish, it's scrapbook paper that you can find at crafts stores. It comes in like 10x10 inch (or something like that) squares, which makes it rough for doing a full shot. You can use wrapping paper too, but one sheet of scrap paper is cheaper than buying a whole roll of wrapping.

Valho, from nasty otaku who are trying to look at her pantsu no doubt.

Hirvine, none of my one leg figures lean. Rin is mounted with a metal screw.

Persefone Loki, there are a lot of figures posed like that nowadays...on the other hand it makes it easier for you to not buy too many figures.

I only know little busters from the youtube vids.
My problem with my one leg figure is the '<a href="http://www.dannychoo.com/adp/eng/884/Leaning+Figures.html" title="Leaning Figures" rel="nofollow">leaning figures</a>' problem. Did you have this problem? Does she stands firmly in the base?

Quite like the pose of this figure. Like the second pic too, feels like she's running from something.
