I’ll probably add another 3 or 4 at some point. I really like what should be coming over the next couple of months. Going by what I’m actually buying, I guess Alter has the best line-up for the first part of 2008. Those getting all of the Shuraki figures from GoodSmile will probably disagree, plus that Chu Chu Astram is really hot looking (please dear god don’t be a trap).
How about you? If you’re only getting one or two, which ones are you getting? For me it would be Exelica or Chu Chu.

The Yuki Nagato swimsuit is very cute. That’s also a must have for me, well not that any piece of plastic is really necessary for waking up in the morning, but you know what I mean.
It’s been a month since I’ve received anything that I can actually smell what my apartment smells like (carpet deodorizer)…I’m missing the faint odor of new figure fumes in my dwelling.

No preorder yet for Chu Chu, still thinking about getting her or not… too many figures, not enough money =_=;

Also have about 1/2 of your list on preorder as well. Looking at my list, have about 30 figures on preorder so far… that isn’t much, right? ^^;;
My current list at HLJ is at about 25. Chuchu is a maybe; the sculpt is very nice, but its way past my ‘fanservice threshold’.
Alter’s Mitsuru really puts the Kotobukiya release on my ‘likely to sell’ list. The more figures Alter and Max release the more irrelevant Kotobukiya becomes…
super rats: when did the Mitsuru preorder start? The release date tells me recently. It totally went out of my radar, and is nowhere to be seen in HLJ.
Also, where do you usually preorder from?
Ron ~ I haven’t seen the show Siesta comes from, so she just looks like a generic maid character to me. The Moetan figs aren’t really my thing, don’t know why since they’re really cute.
I thought I read somewhere that Moy was cutting back?
Mitsuru is up for pre-order at Hobby Search, I think starting today. I always use Hobby Search unless I forget to place an order and they’ve closed acceptance. When that happens I use HLJ as a second choice. The Mitsuru figure from Alter just oozes cool.

Seconded. Exelica looks to be super awesome, and for a figure to be worth around 15,000 Yen must mean something. Other than her, I’ve just got Rein Zwei left, along with Fauna, who hasn’t been shipped yet. So much for cutting down on figures this year…
I’m Pre-ordering almost everything (but 1 figure) from Kid Nemo (if anybody is curious of a good place for that). So far all of my figures (but 1) have been bought from them.

Of course he wouldn’t mind Chu Chu, lol. I like Kid Nemo as well and usually use them to pick up figures I didn’t get on pre-order.
Haha well yeah, but he was worried about visitors seeing the scantly clad figures.
Where do you usually pre-order from then? I use Kid Nemo for both because I like that they charge when they ship (unlike AnimeXing…) and I like to keep all my dealings in one place so I can keep track xD;
Hobby Search for pre-orders, or HLJ if Hobby Search has closed acceptance on a figure, Kid Nemo for stuff already available in the US.
Oooh I absolutely know how you feel! I’ve got all my figures and camera equipment stashed up cos I’m in the middle of a move. Very utterly bounded & gagged.
I think I should do like you did. Start with a list first. LOL At least that’ll feed my fetish for a while longer and have something to look forward to ~(^.*)~

hmmm I’ve gone back and forth so many times on the swimsuit Nagato Yuki, but eventually passed on her to try preordering other stuff. Maybe I can try to pick her up when she’s out. She does look very cute…that swimsuit really brings it out lol

I like Hobby Search pretty well, but their shipping from Japan is expensive so I use them if I can’t find something on KN (like my Kodomo no Jikan figure). For some reason I don’t really like HLJ but I guess if there was something I couldn’t find anywhere else and really wanted I’d go there xD;.

Well, I’m behind on fig news, as usual. Just ordered myself a Rein (so cute I’m gonna die when it gets here)~ I only own three figs (MF’s Ignis–back in her case after gumby-leg issues–Alter’s KOS-MOS, and Yotsuba) because it’s a pricey hobby to get into, but sometimes there’s one that just jumps out at me, and lil Rein is one of those!
I’m still looking for a Pakira and a Kino. :\ I’ve seen Pakira for close to $100 on Amazon but I ain’t paying that. Asaba Ureshiko with the umbrella is on my buy list, too, but lots of places still have that one in stock so I’ve been lazy about actually ordering it. XD
…I also might have to get me a Hatsune Miku, because black and turquoise is the best color combination in the world.
Miku is real popular. Pre-orders didn’t stay open very long for that one.
Aye, but looks like there will be another release of it this fall~ At least according to the dozen or so online stores I’ve browsed.
