Style Change

I’ve modified the stylesheet of the Tarski theme so that the background is dark gray with light colored text, hopefully it isn’t too hard to read. Anyway, pictures look better when set against a dark gray background, which is why I changed the colors. Only downside is gray isn’t usually a “happy” color. If the dark background messes with your eyes, let me know.

Also, this is my first use of an “aside” and I think I have it so they don’t show up on the main RSS feed. If it does show up, sorry about that, I didn’t do something right.

Nice layout…this is better than the previous…I like it a lot.

Contrary to lighter grays, I don’t think dark gray look at all depressing.

I might be biased though, since I’m still obsessed with this theme:

p.s. My only gripe is that pink/purplish font colour. Now THAT’S depressing.

i like white more… this gray color doesn’t reflect “happy” soda :p

I agree partially with Ron. the gray doesn’t make it “happy”. But if you really want to keep the dark background, it does need a little color… try #4F2935 as a background-color. I took a screen-cap of your page and did a hue/sat on it just to test, and it seems to be a nice balance of dark text with a little bit more warmth.

Dark grey is a little depressing, but less eye strain than white. I really should get around to changing the look of my blog for a number of reasons but mainly I want it to look a little more simplier.

The grey color is different. I thought I had stumbled across a different site when I clicked the link. =p

Anyhow, I can get used to this although I did like the white theme. Weird, eh? It’s good to change it up once in a while though; it keeps it interesting.

As for input, if I am qualified to make such a statement, I think a lighter shade of grey would be more appeasing to me.
