Now I may be adding Noein to the watch list. Love the new topside banner. Did I miss that or is it new? If I missed it, I am maybe less observant than… a really unobservant raccoon.

Yeah, I have noticed that the characters are off model a lot. Since it’s so frequent, I think I’ve already grown accustomed to it.

I love the way they throw any attempt at staying on model completely out the window for the sake of looking awesome every time a battle breaks out on this show.

As for the character design not being moetaku, thats kind of only true part of the time – even in the DVD versions the character designs kind of have a habit of looking completely different from episode to episode (go look at, errr, I think it was episode 2).

Noein is great. Glad you are seeing the proper version rather than the fansubs which came out really slowly and spoilt the momentum of the series. And english dubbing is never recommended.

The different feel of Noein is something I definitely latched onto. So Noein, wasn’t that popular I take it?

Anime posts are something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. I have about eight half finished posts on different animes, but can never finish writing them. I hope to be able to add one or two anime posts a month.

Well this is definitely something different on your blog. Anyway Noein is one of those hidden gem type of animes. The story at first for me was rather weak, but it grew and I ended up liking it quite a bit, the same with the characters.

The animation is a interesting factor. Although it feels simplish, erratic and experimental, it does justice when added with the action and gives the series a unique feel as opposed to other anime series. Definitely an enjoyable series.
