Yesterday, Tomopop posted an interview with me, where I answered a few questions about taking pictures of toys, what I look for when I use backgrounds, etc. Anyway, thanks to Colette for giving me the opportunity to say hello to Tomopop readers. Go on, click the link.

I left a question in the comments for you, if you feel free to answer it…
Nice interview. Long due I should also add.
I responded and it sort of reminded me that I could make another tutorial post.
Sweet! I remember when I got interviewed at Tomopop too. Pretty cool stuff.
Your interviewer (Colette) did a much better job of the questions (probably because she’s into the hobby too, unlike my interviewer).
She won the Anime Figurines Network (facebook group) photo contest with her great Alice photo!
I remember that.
Colette is great.
Nice responses. I looked to your site for lots of inspiration and tips when I start out figure shooting ^_~!
As someone who’s a fan of what you do, wow, thanks!
Were the answers post edited?? Well, I think its nice being interviewed
It was an e-mail interview and if there were any edits to it, I really can’t tell.
Your figure pictures are still the principal inspiration for my own, so this was a pretty cool interview to read. (I even kept my thumbnails at 375 pixels wide for a long time because I figured if that size was alright for Happy Soda, it would be alright for my site.)
It was fun to read even though I knew some of the answers before due to some chats on Len VespersLiveFeed back than…
Its no Lie that youre probably the most influential dude in the english speaking figure blogosphere.
I dont wanna suck up to you but its still you who got me into this downward spiral ^^
Lots of the stuff in the interview, Len Vesper got during that LiveFeed. I was thinking that when I was typing out my replies.
